MY FIRST DESIGN TEAM PROJECT!!!!!!!!

I am so excited I just had to share.I was chosen to be on the CREATIVE CHAOS FLOWER DESIGN TEAM. Shannon makes the most beautiful flowers .She even sells them on her etsy shop so if you are interested here is the link http://www.etsy.com/listing/75285701/outdoorsmasculine-paper-flower-set
This was our first set of flowers we received and our theme was Father's Day/Outdoors

So this is what I came up with.

I did a layout using the Mariposa Stack from DCWV and added a picture of my husband with our son and daughter. We went up to the Mountains for our first family picnic last year with all of my side of the family, and my husband and son are helping my daughter cross the river.I thought this picture came out adorable and would work out perfect for Shannon's flowers and i can't wait to use them on many more projects. I didn't do much else to the layout since it already had butterflies on it and i didn't want to take away from the beautiful flowers.

Be sure to stop by the rest of the design Team's blogs and take a look at their wonderful projects. All these ladies are very talented and will give you lots of inspiration.
Here are there blogs if you would like to take a look.

I was inspired to make this card By Mary from cardz tv,she has a video tutorial on how to make this cute oragami shirt. I always have such a hard time making masculine cards and i thought this is perfect especially now for Father's Day.

candle directions

This is what you will need for the candles:
I use the white pilar candles (i get them at walmart)
a embossing heat tool
any rubber stamp you want to use
any color ink of your choice
tissue paper (like for gifts)
wax paper
adhesive
step1- stamp your image on the tissue paper, then cut the excess paper off (cut as close to the stamped part as possible)

step 2- put a tiny bit of adhesive on the back of the stamped tissue paper (just to hold it on the candle.

step 3-adhere the stamped tissue paper to the candle

step 4- cut a piece of the wax paper long enough to go around the whole candle and a little extra to use as a handle so you don't burn yourself .Be sure to pull it as tight as you can

step5- with your heat tool hold it over the candle where your stamp is until you see it getting glossy but not too long because then your candle will melt.

step 6-Decorate as desired ( I used a brad for the middle of the cross). And your done !!!
